The LG G2 may not
be a world ranking phone, but it does have its place in the world of modern
phones and is by no means an outside contender. Here are a few features that
people seem to like in the phone. It would be unfair to truly rank these in a
list from one to ten, as they are all pretty cool features that are hard to
rank. To some people a 13MP camera is more impressive than the fact it has a
3000 mAh.
1 - It is not a
standout phone that differentiates the Samsungs and the HTCs
This is something
that lots of people like and lots dislike. Some feel that they should have done
more to be different from the Samsungs and the HTCs of this world. But, if
people like what Samsung and HTC are doing, then why try to be different? Why
try to sell pineapple juice to people who want milk? This fact alone is one of
the reasons why a lot of people like the LG G2.
2 - It has a
resolution of 1,920 pixels by 1,080 pixels
This means that it
has 423 pixels-per-inch of screen. This may not mean much to you, but it does
make it 82% sharper than the screen of an average phone. It is a phone screen
that is just over five inches, which is pretty good since some tablet devices
are only seven inches. This means that a very sharp image on the phone is quite
an achievement.
3 - A battery that
is 3,000 mAh
This sort of
battery capacity is massive for a Smartphone. It means that you will get more
talk time and more standby time. It also means that you will not have to charge
it as often, and means you can run more processes without the battery dying on
you all the time. This is good, as the Android is able to take on more
processes than the iOS, which means people need a bigger battery with Android
phones.
4 - The phone's
body is 5.4" high, 2.8" wide
This does not make
it anything special, but it does make it just the right size for most people
with an average hand size. It also has a depth of 0.35". This makes it 24%
thinner than most average phones. People have expressed a liking for the fact
that they have made the phone easier to hold and easy to handle without making
it feel flimsy or small or feel like it may easily be broken.
5 - It has four
processors
This means that it
is very fast and able to handle more than one process at a time. It has a quad
core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 MSM8974 processor which means it has for CPUs
(four processors) inside it. Modern technology has hit a wall when it comes to
speed, so phone designers are simply adding more processors so that the work may
be split between processors and therefore done a little faster.
6 - 13 mega pixel
primary (rear) camera
The 13 mega pixel
camera is a very big deal for some people. Samsung were the first ones to drip
a 13 mega pixel camera into their phone. There is now a feeling that a phone
without a 13 mega pixel camera is behind the times. That is why a lot of people
were pleased that it was present in this phone.
7 - Its CPU runs
at 2.2 GHz
This makes it a
faster Smartphone. It actually makes it a lot faster than most average phones,
which is something that people want if they are going to run multiple processes
on their phones.
8 - It can record
1080p high def video
This may be done
with its primary camera. You may not figure this to be very impressive, but at
this point in time it is the highest resolution that a Smartphone can support.
This means that the designers have pushed their limits of high def recording to
as far as they can go.
9 - It has 2,048
MB of RAM
This is a lot more
than most Smartphones, with most of them having just 1000MB. This means that in
terms of performance it is a big winner. It can perform a lot better than most
other phones on the market.
10 - It is still a
light phone
It weighs 143
grams. This makes it about average for an average Smartphone, but most
Smartphones are very light these days. What is impressive about this is that
they have somehow managed to squeeze four processors into this light phone, and
a massive battery. If you consider that then you can see how impressive its
weight really is when you consider that the other phones do not have such a big battery.
