Configuring what text or code we want to find:
When you first start A1 Website Analyzer, you will be able to see it offers a lot of tools. However, for this guide, we will only want to see how we can perform a custom search.
Therefore, in the main tab "Scan website" locate "Data collection":
Here you can either click the "book" icon to select among predefined search patterns - e.g. to find pages with Google Analytics or Google Adsense code - or define your own which you can add using the "plus" icon.
Each search pattern takes the form of name= search-pattern where the search can be a regular expression. If you do not know how regular expressions work for pattern matching, you can also simply enter a simple text string or word, e.g. "my product name".

Start scan:
After you have configured A1 Website Analyzer, now is the time to start the website crawl and wait for it to finish. Simply enter the website domain address and hit the "Start scan" button:
When the website crawl has finished, it will open the "Analyze website" tab.
Seeing pages where the search found matches:
In the manu "View - Data columns - Extracted content" you can enable visiblity of the column "Page content search results".
The search results are then listed by the name and number of times the seach string or pattern was found on the given page.
