Android 2.2 froyo and Android 2.3 gingerbread are the two versions of the smartphone operating system ANDROID developed by Google. While Ice-cream sandwich, Android 4.0 has been recently launched, but these two Android versions are still ruling the market. It was released mainly to address the email bug that randomly forward the text messages in the inbox. But later on most of the android devices started coming with Android 2.2.2.
