Apple is huge and we all know that. But did you ever imagine how huge is late Mr. Steve Job’s Apple? People hardly remember Apple of 90’s decade except for using an Apple IIe in computer lab in high schools and colleges. Apple only started getting bigger and bigger since 2001 when it launched its firstiPod.
Only a lucky few companies get the honor of getting one of its products labeled as the Category name of that product. For example, in India Dairy Milk chocolates has got that honor. People call the name Cadbury if they refer chocolates. Similarly, in case of Apple, people say iPod instead of asking for mp3 player. This is a huge achievement for any company. Many people don’t even know the name of popular brands offering an mp3 player apart from Apple’s iPod.
The same goes with iPad. Being the first product of its class, it still has got that monopoly. The success story of iPad is so huge that no other competitor for tablet even gets a chance to stand nearby. Now days, manufacturers have started understanding that the only way for them to survive would be making low priced tablets.
No matter which ever country is it, you cannot go past even a single day without noticing a single Apple product while walking on road, travelling in train, etc. Apple’s products are definitely over priced because of its brand value. Just image if Apple manages to keep good quality and cut down on prices then which other competitor company would exist.
