Annoyed by the privacy options? Guilty after realizing how much time you wasted on facebook? Getting nightmares about being tagged in weird pictures?  Aggravated on receiving unnecessary posts? Feeling like a solitary reaper on being left out by friends? Feeling low on seeing well established lives of friends? Stressed on being stalked by someone? Well these are signs showing that you spend too much time on facebook and need a good alternative. Read on to know why you should quit facebook:
  • Privacy: This is the foremost reason why people quit facebook. The privacy on facebook is not too strong, actually it sucks big time. It is very natural for people to react because no one can stand seeing their personal information being viewed publicly.  However hard one tries to customize their privacy options, still there are certain info visible publicly against your wish. A lot of variations pop up in the privacy setting with the passage of time and it becomes difficult for everyone to be fully updated with it.
  • Time flies: Facebook is the deliberate act of wasting time instead of working. Admit it! You don’t even realize how time flies after you log in your facebook account. Facebook is ultimate way of wasting time quickly just by checking and updating statuses, photos and videos. Moreover it leads to fall in productivity. Even in smaller chunks, the wasted time quickly adds up, from replying to wall posts and messages to looking at your friends vacation photos, it is always a massive time stuck. Stop wasting time looking at other people’s lives unfolding and start making a name for yourself.
  • Unnecessary nerve-racking: Don’t want yourself to be worried over petty issues? Quit facebook! You must have found yourself worrying whole night just by the thought of getting tagged in those weird pictures on facebook clicked last day by your friend. Isn’t that a slightest thing to ponder about? Yes it is! And you still do it. It indeed is a big problem, quit facebook and you will feel a little saner. You always remain concerned regarding what your friends, families, colleagues; boss would think after seeing those embarrassing pictures of yours. Stop it! Go get a life outside facebook.
  • Too much of information: Your homepage is full of your friend’s activity. Most of which you are hardly bothered about. More the friends, more of this problem. Obviously you are least interested in knowing what the hell others are doing or what are they up to. There are a lot who are just addicted to posting stuffs randomly and you end up being a sufferer. You badly want to scream that you are not interested in knowing how much of tequila shots he consumed last night!
  • Lack personal touch: Social media has become the ultimate source of communication these days. Just liking pictures and videos of your friends does not mean you are completely aware of their life or how they are. Don’t rely on facebook to update you with their life, call them up and get updated. Nothing can substitute that communication. But facebook makes you addicted to know everything over it. Don’t let this happen. Don’t give reasons to your friends for leaving you out or stop counting on you. Keep in touch personally.
  • Mental disturbance: ‘Can you please block me from your wall posts . . . I have this innate sense of launching myself off a cliff every time I see your LIFE and MINE’ does this trigger your mind as well? There is just nothing to feel bad if someone receives an increment or buys a new well furnished house. It takes a toll on mental health. Don’t let unnecessary things ruin your mind. Stop bothering yourself, stay relaxed and if you are unsuccessful in doing that, quit facebook!
  • Avoid stalking: Definitely you can’t stand stalkers. Always sneaking through your wall, commenting on your posts, stays at the top of your friends list, always available on facebook somehow or the other, whenever you go online and one notification from them for sure. They are highly bugging. Sends weird, creepy and strange instant messages to you, well in that case, you are being stalked for sure. They don’t know the limits of personal communication. Cyber stalking is creepy!
